Item #: Check Sieves
Protect your downstream equipment and ensure product quality with the VAC-U-MAX In-Line Air-Swept Check Sieving System. Check sieves can be incorporated into an existing or a new vacuum conveying system.
In-line check sieves help ensure pure product for sanitary industrial applications like food production and pharmaceuticals, and applications where purity is essential for performance and process consistency, like chemical processing and additive manufacturing.
The sieve is incorporated right into the conveying line, between the pickup point and before any downstream processes. It screens the material and removes oversized contaminants and foreign objects from powders and granules. Check sieves enhance food safety, improve product quality, and protect downstream equipment.

FEATURES
In-line check sieving becomes part of the closed material transfer system, rather than being performed in a separate space. This prevents contamination, dust exposure, and potential product loss.
Operation is simple—the pneumatic conveying system draws material into the chamber above the vibrating screen, through the screen, and on to the next element in the conveying system.
The rate at which material can be conveyed through a vacuum conveying system using a sieve will vary depending upon the characteristics of the material. Many systems are operating at rates up to 4 tons per hour and higher rates are being achieved in some instances.
