Tablet Press Loading

Item #: Tablet Press Loading

This vacuum conveying system for loading tablet presses is a complete, ready-to-operate package for use with single or dual-hopper tablet presses.

Overview

Eliminate stair climbing, lifting, and manual dumping; avoid spills, mishandling, and potential contamination; increase throughput; improve compliance across the board (OSHA, FDA, USDA, NEMA); and eliminate fugitive dust exposure with the VAC-U-MAX Tablet Press Loading System.

Our tablet press loader is a complete, ready-to-operate pneumatic conveying package for use with single- or dual-hopper tablet presses. This system will arrive at your facility fully configured and ready to go, and will include a receiver, power unit, vacuum, hose, conveying wand, control panel, and mounting lugs for easy installation.

HOW IT WORKS

The system draws material directly from drums, boxes, storage containers, and process vessels at rates of 200–250 kilograms (440–550 pounds) per hour, feeding the tablet press and ensuring it never runs out of product.

Constructed from sanitary 304 or 316L stainless steel and USDA accepted, this compact system features four quick-acting heavy duty clamps for easy disassembly and cleaning – no tools needed. A dust-tight connection of the receiver to the press hopper provides maximum cleanliness and product integrity, and automatic pulse jet filter cleaning ensures peak operating performance.

The system has a level sensor which automatically triggers conveying when the material level gets low in the tablet press hopper, keeping the line moving and ensuring that the press never runs dry, which could cause costly tooling damage.

The system can be adapted to feed multiple tablet presses simultaneously or in sequence, with systems available for single or dual hopper setups. Advanced systems with programmable controls can manage up to 16 presses, monitoring surge bin levels to ensure continuous, uninterrupted material flow across all units
