Gravity Diverter Valves

Overview

Diverter valves can significantly expand the capabilities of a conveying system. A gravity diverter valve acts similarly to a splitter valve, allowing you to use one system to feed two different pieces of equipment. A multi-ingredient system may employ flex tube diverter valves to meter material from a bulk bag unloader to batch weigh receivers.

Unload to two processes at once; switch material flow from one to two lines—or from two lines down to one; introduce multiple ingredients into a process line; or choose which vessel gets the material on any given run.

Available in various sizes and outlet configurations, VAC-U-MAX pant-leg diverter valves (gravity diverter valves) feature state-of-the-art pneumatic actuators and adjustable operating speeds. These valves allow for unrestricted material flow through open gates, and a split-body design for easy cleaning and service.

Designed from heavy gauge carbon steel or stainless steel construction, pant-leg diverter valves are furnished complete with all necessary control components.

The Vac-U-Max slide-plate diverter valve is a convey line diverter for vacuum conveying systems. It is designed for applications where you want to switch material flow from one to two lines—or from two lines down to one.
