Metal Grinder/Sand Blaster

Grinding | Manufacturing | Polishing

(August 27, 2025) We are seeking a Grinder / Sand Blaster to join our team on site in Belleville, New Jersey. In this hands-on role, you will grind, clean, and polish stainless steel to matte and mirror finishes.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to

• Grinding seams on stainless and carbon steel components utilizing handheld grinders, belt sanders, abrasive discs, and polishing wheels
• Polishing stainless steel to specified finishes
• Sand Blasting carbon steel components
• Maintaining a clean, organized workspace
• Following lockout/tagout procedures and wearing required PPE at all times

Abilities to include, but not limited to

• Ability to stand and concentrate for 8+ hours per shift
• Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs regularly
• Strong team orientation and willingness to cross-train in related fabrication tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

• 1+ years of grinding / polishing experience on stainless and carbon steel. Willing to teach the right candidate.
